Dr. Ibrahim is the president of AMG, and he is a board-certified physician in Internal Medicine and a Diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine, bringing over 20 years of dedicated service to patients and their families throughout Northern New Jersey. He completed his residency at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, New York, graduating with honors in 2004. During his residency, he was recognized as the “Resident of the Year” for his exemplary performance and significant research contributions to the American College of Physicians.

In 2006, Dr. Ibrahim founded Advance Medical Group, a patient-centered practice that addresses preventive care, a wide range of illnesses and chronic conditions including obesity, diabetes, hypertension, asthma and several others. With over two decades of experience, he is particularly passionate about promoting an overall healthy lifestyle, using less medications when possible, taking the time to actively listen to his patients’ challenges, and helping them achieve their overall wellness goals and healthy weight.

As the head physician at AMG, he is committed to staying at the forefront of medical advancements. He enhances his staff’s clinical knowledge through ongoing education, utilizing clinical scenarios, and case studies to ensure patients receive exceptional medical care. Known for his warm and welcoming demeanor, he is highly regarded by both patients and colleagues for his genuine willingness to assist others.

Dr. Ibrahim teaches medical students and Nurse Practitioner students from various accredited institutions including HMH school of Medicine, Rowan College of South Jersey, William Paterson University, and many others.

He is a proud father of three children, and outside of work he focuses on practicing a healthy lifestyle with a proper diet and exercise to lead his patients by example.

Dr. Ibrahim is Fluent in Arabic and clinical Spanish, currently welcoming new patients at Advance Medical Group, in all four convenient locations throughout North Jersey.
